In this recipe, you will be going Vegan-Free as we are using egg as the batter base and to be used as an ingredient binder for this recipe, you will come to know the importance of egg throughout the recipe. Also, this Japanese style pancake is not called Okonomiyaki unless and until it is drizzled with Teriyaki Sauce.
Bechef Teriyaki Sauce - 3-4 tbsp
Cabbage (finely chopped) -½ cup
Egg - 1 nos
All Purpose Flour - 1 cup
Salt - To taste
Garlic Powder - 1 tsp
Onion Powder - 1 tsp
Mushroom (roughly chopped) - 1 cup
Radish (grated) - ½ cup
Cooking Oil - 2-3 tbsp
Mayonnaise - For garnishing
Spring Onion - For garnishing
Take a mixing bowl.
Add mushroom, onion garlic powder, onion powder.
AddBechef Teriyaki Sauce and mix it well.
Keep aside this mixture.
Take another mixing bowl.
Add All Purpose flour, salt, egg, cabbage, and radish, mix well.
Heat up the pan and add oil.
Make a pancake out of the batter.
Place mushrooms on the other side of the pancake.
Flip it, and cook the other side of the pancake.
Cook it until golden brown.
ApplyBechef Teriyaki Sauce on both sides of the pancake.
Garnish okonomiyaki withBechef Teriyaki Sauce,Mayonnaise and Spring onion.
